Kentucky Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (KSCLS) is a constituent of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) and a member of ASCLS Region IV.



KSCLS serves as the voice of all clinical laboratory professionals in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, creating a vision for the advancement of the clinical laboratory practice field, and advocating the value and role of the profession.

The purposes for which the Society is formed are:

  • To promote the value of the profession to healthcare and the public;
  • To provide professional development opportunities; To advocate on behalf of the profession;
  • To enhance the quality standards and patient centered care;
  • To unite the profession to speak with one voice.

  • KSCLS Annual Meeting 2025

    KSCLS is excited to announce that our annual meeting will be held in Shelbyville, KY on Friday, 4/25/25, from  9 AM - 3 PM. You can earn up to 4 PACE credits for your professional certification.

    A business meeting will follow from 3-4 PM.

    The meeting will be held at the following location:

    Shelbyville Conference & Welcome Center

    219 7th St.

    Shelbyville, KY 40065

    Lunch will be provided from Subway. More information about the meeting, including a list of speakers, can be found at he registration link below.
